In New South Wales, it's only legal to ride electric scooters on personal property. Sadly, the Transportation Priest did not press through with e-scooter trials in Sydney despite the National Transport Compensation's (NTC) suggestion in August 2020. So far, there's no news concerning this development, resulting in NSW dragging various other states.
